We are seeking an Operations & Admin Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of the academy. This role is execution-focused, not strategic, and is critical to keeping the business organised, responsive, and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organised, dependable, and comfortable working independently with clear deliverables rather than fixed daily hours.

Work Structure

- This role is deliverables-based - Work is asynchronous with fixed meeting times - Work is remote-first - Occasional in-person meetings in Lagos may be required to support physical programs or event preparation. These will be scheduled in advance.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Administration

- Manage class schedules and calendars - Track student attendance and class completion - Maintain student and parent records - Support student onboarding and offboarding - Follow up on payments and subscriptions - Maintain internal trackers and documentation - Support coordination with tutors as the team grows

Parent and Student Communication

- Serve as the first point of contact for parents and students - Respond to WhatsApp messages, emails, and inquiries within 24 hours - Send class updates, announcements, and reminders - Collect feedback and testimonials when required

Marketing and Content Coordination

- Create and manage a content calendar - Coordinate with a graphic designer - Schedule and post approved content across platforms - Assist with simple video trimming or class highlights - Support campaign execution for bootcamps and programs

Founder Support and Reporting

- Translate founder decisions into tasks and checklists - Track goals, tasks, and deadlines using Notion - Prepare weekly operational summaries - Flag issues or risks early

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication - High level of organisation and attention to detail - Ability to follow through and work independently - Comfortable using Notion, Google Workspace, Canva, Whatsapp - Reliable personal laptop and stable internet

Nice To Have

- Experience working with an online school or education business - Social media coordination or content management experience - Basic design skills (Canva)
