Our story

Stix and Codes was founded in March 2025 to close a gap that goes deeper than access. Across Africa, the digital divide isn't only about who owns a device. It's about knowledge, and it's about safety.

We exist to give children the skills, confidence, and guidance to grow up as capable, safe participants in the digital world, not just consumers of it.

Today our students don't just learn concepts. They design, build, and publish work they're proud of.

What we stand for

Five principles that shape every class we run.

Structured Learning
Clear paths, defined outcomes, age-appropriate progression. No guesswork.
Access and Inclusion
Digital education made reachable through partnerships, scholarships, and community programs, especially for girls and underserved learners.
Practical, Future-Relevant Skills
Hands-on from day one. Students build, design, and create, not just memorise.
Human Support
Tutors, mentors, and community guide every learner. Never learning alone.
Sustainability and Discipline
Clear systems and long-term thinking, so we grow without losing quality.

Her path into tech wasn't a straight line: it began in Agriculture before an unexpected turn into technology, an experience that shaped a belief at the heart of the company, that purpose matters more than title.

With a background in Technical Support Engineering, she saw the digital divide up close and built Stix and Codes as her answer to it. She leads the academy as an IT professional, tech educator, and advocate for digital literacy and child safety across Africa.
